All questions about costs, payment, deadlines, penalities, refunds, or student accounts should be addressed to the Bursar's office. Any information published by the University Bursar overrides any information published on the VTMIT website. |

| Students who wish to qualify for in-state tuition rates must be able to provide proof of Virginia residency during the application process. All other students will pay out-of-state rates. |

| Full or partial refunds are only given if students withdraw from a course within specific time periods. Please see the University Bursar Refund Policy for explanations and schedules. Be aware that students cannot recieve refunds after the dates specified in the schedules. |
